FRATERNITY BREAKS DOWN
The once-great Prempeh Old Boys fraternity has completed broken down with persistent in-fighting between the Accra-based Vice president and the Kumasi-based national president. There are also problems between the former Akosa regime and the current one. Headmaster Achiaw on July 4 told current President Dr. Kufuor, "Akosa says I'm doing a good job; Akosa says I'm the best this school has ever had. You can't sack me" It appears Achiaw is destroying the college with Akosa's backing. Meanwhile a massive demo and emergency meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9 at Sofoline.

Prempeh failed to progress beyong the first round of the Milo national football competition. Prempeh was also disgraced 96-46 by OWASS in the quarter final of this year's National Science & Maths Quiz

Prempeh dominated the Ashanti hockey competition which was played in a league format this year by beating all the schools and winning the maximum points, defeating OWASS in the last game.

Imagine a Headmaster so bad that a predecessor comes out of retirement to chastize him. With nearly 100% of Achiaw's students calling for his sacking, and his job approval rating approaching 0%, a former Headmaster comes out of retirement to condemn his villainy. CONSCIENCE UNDER SCRUTINY
A Prempeh boy died of asthma in his dorm in 2002. Two years later, one Senior Kwaku Danso donated cash to Headmaster Owusu-Achiaw to set up an Asthma Foundation for those who need asthma drugs. But the headmaster opted to keep the donation a secret and spend the money on himself instead of buying drugs for sick children. It didn't even bother him that a child's death had occured under his watch. The conscience of this avaricious man is being questioned all over the world.
