Prof. Akwasi Asabere-Ameyaw is the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education of Winneba.
Senior Asabere is the second person to head the university, succeeding the founding Vice-Chancellor.
He paid tribute to this awesome Prempeh fraternity in his acceptance speech in September.
Professor Asabere-Ameyaw is a Science Educator. Until his appointment as Vice Chancellor he held several
positions in UCEW/UEW including the following: Pro Vice-Chancellor; Deputy Director, SACOST; Head, Department
of Science Education; Head of Biology Section; Coordinator, Environmental Education; and member of many
committees and boards of UCEW/UEW.
