Former Headmaster T.A Osae has been awarded a Presidential medal -- The Order of
Star of Ghana, along with 6 other Amanfoo. Another Amanfoo, Senior Michael Kofi Ahey, considered
Ghana's "greatest athlete of all time," has been awarded the Order of the Volta Officer.
The other Prempeh products who are to receive the Order of Star of Ghana are
Ghana health Services Director-General, Prof. Agyeman Badu Akosa; Principal of the Methodist University, Rev. Prof. S.K. Agyepong;
Former Central Bank Deputy-Governor, Mr. Sarpong Manu; Presiding Bishop
of the Methodist Church and Prempeh College Board member Rev. Dr Robert
Aboagye-Mensah and former IGP Mr. Kwaku Kyei.
This news is particularly refreshing to Prempeh College athletes and a slap in the face of
the anti-sports brigade headed by traitor Mr. Koduah, since two of the award recipients
are two of Prempeh's greatest sports men.

Accra, March 14, GNA - As part of the Government's Programme to reward
creativity, innovation, excellence and hard among Ghanaians, President
John Agyekum Kufuor has authorised the institution of a National Medals
Awards Day, to honour distinguished and deserving Ghanaians in the various
Disciplines, Professions and Trades. The date for the maiden edition
of the programme and presentation of the Medals, would be announced during
the Republic Day Celebrations and would be observed as an annual event.
