Several additional Prempeh athletes and soccer players are being seriously
pursued by US coaches. Eric Goloe, especially, is being tracked at this website by several
track and field coaches. His best time of 10.4 secs is too mouth-watering for
some of these university coaches.
The nation's fastest youth with a best of 10.4secs will get the opportunity
to shine in the US ahead of the 2008 Olympics
The other luminaries under consideration are Milo soccer sensation Stephen Okei (defender)
and striker Brenya.
In fact, one prominent Amanfoo sent $500 to register these boys and a few others for the SATs.
But in keeping with prempeh.org's policy of not identifying donors without first obtaining their permission,
we will not identify the person at this time. Mr. Lartey, however, has confirmed that he registered
the boys for the exam this week and they arescheduled to take it in May.
Prempeh.org will provide them with tutors to help them excel, which will of course shame the
devil (i.e., Mr. Koduah).
When Goloe first entered Prempeh 2 years ago, his best time was about 11.4 secs; now he runs a best of 10.4 secs (thanks to
the outstanding coaching of Mr. Lartey). If this is a pattern to go by, then
in another 2 years he could fall down to 9.4 secs and challenge for Olympic gold medal.
He may get to compete in the Olympic relay alongside the nation's previous fastest youth, Samuel Adade, who
is also schooling in the States.
