Senior Agyemang Duah of the Class of 2004, who played alongside Douglas "Man United" Nyame
and Chibsah Faisal in the 2004 Milo soccer victory, is being considered for a scholarship
to the Virginia Polytechnic
Institute & State University, the school that is also recruiting Ahmed.
When Virginia Tech coach Oliver visited Ahmed at
Sofoline last month, he searched for
more than one player. Agyemang Duah was deemed an excellent candidate because he was
already enrolled in a university - KNUST.
However, Virginia Tech's scholarship allocation is almost
full for this 2006/07 academic year. It appears that the only guarantee for this year's entry
is Ahmed. Both players, however, are also being scouted by other schools.
We will update you on which schools Ahmed and Agyemang end up in.
