Osei Nyarko signs for Tano Bofoakwa FC

Tuesday, February 21, 2006

Former Prempeh captain Osei Nyarko (Apio) and his successor to the Prempeh captaincy, Ahmed Amoako - two idols from Aggrey House.
Captain of last year's Prempeh national champion football team, Martin Osei Nyarko, yesterday signed with Tano Bofoakwa FC.

The man who led Prempeh to win the Ashanti Regional Milo Championship and the National Milo Championship stopped commercial activities in and around Sunyani as he made way to the Brong Ahafo capital.

Martin Osei Nyarko has been the center of a transfer deal to Brekum Arsenals, Tano Bofoakwa and King Faisal.

After the agent of Apio refused an offer from King Faisal, the Prempeh star has signed a deal with Tano Bofoakwa. Yesterday, the star of Prempeh made a triumphant entry to Sunyani and the whole place went wild.

People came from all walks of the city to welcome the young Amanfoo whose duty is to put the ball always in the net. Apio scores in almost every match that he plays and he is a threat to many a defender.

Today, all the radio stations in Ghana announced the presence of this young chap in Sunyani. We expect to see a brilliant performance from the young Amanfoo this season which will see him playing for his dream club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, where his Prempeh senior is the present captain and probably take on the captainship some years to come.
