Dominic Oduro is DPL player of the week

Prempeh's Oduro plays professionally in USA The Richmond Kickers Future were the first team to clinch a 2005 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup berth after the 2-1 win over Raleigh last weekend. The undefeated Future has qualified for the tournament for the first time and will enter the First Round on Wednesday, June 15th where they will most likely face a PDL or USASA team.

US Open Soccer Cup Future forward Dominic Oduro was named PDL Player of the Week this week for his contribution to the team's Open Cup berth. With two goals in both the 2-1 win over Raleigh and the 4-3 overtime win against Carolina, Oduro has tallied five goals and two assists in four games played.

The Future will face the Williamsburg Legacy for the second of three times this season tonight, June 1st at 7:00 p.m. at Sports Backers Stadium. The Legacy currently reside in fourth place in the PDL standings, eight points behind the first place Future. Most recently, the Legacy recorded their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over the Carolina Dynamo.
