SENIOR MANU SARPONG APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEE
President Kufuor has in consultation with the Council of State, appointed Mr.Yaw Manu-Sarpong, a
Banker and former Chairman of the Prempeh Golden Jubilee Program as the Chairman of the reconstituted 10-member Governing Board of Revenue Agencies in the
country.
A statement issued from the Office of the President on Thursday named other members as the
Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Commissioner of the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service
(CEPS), Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Commissioner of the Value
Added Tax (VAT).
The rest are Ms Gloria Ofori Buadu, Executive Secretary of FIDA, Mrs Victoria Dompreh an
Educationist, Mr S. K. Tsahey, a Lawyer and an Accountant, Mr Paul Osei Kwabena an Accountant
and Mr Harry Owusu, Acting Executive Secretary of the Private Enterprises Foundation (PEF).
