PEARSON-OSAE LECTURE ATTRACTS NATIONAL MEDIA
November 26 1998
By Joseph Nsiah, Freeman '79
I don't know what to say. We really had a good time yesterday.
Everything went on successfully. The attendance was great. The British
Council Hall was filled to the brim. A lot of people had to stand and
others have to stand outside the hall. I just couldn't have a seat. I
think seeing is believing. I'll try and get you a detailed report,
pictures and the video in the course of the week. I've never met so
many amanfuo at any single occasion.
The Lectures were on the front page of Daily Graphic yesterday! We also
had a shot in today's issue of the Daily Graphic. I'm sending you
pictures and cassette recordings of the programme for the website.
Yetsterday one journalist was in my office to collect information for a
student magazine. I think we should maintain the momentum.
The next activity on our programme is the Durbar of Amanfoo Paramount
chiefs in the first week of February, 1999. Amanfoo outside the country
should make a date with us.
