Daily Graphic article bemoans the decline of Prempeh's standards

Friday, April 11, 2008

Friday, March 28 was the day Amanfoo became very pleased when they tuned in to an Accra radio station and heard former Headmaster T.A. Osae regaling the nation with the history of the great Prempeh College (on Citi FM). And though the radio presenters could not find an audio of the college anthem to play on the air, the program was a great success.

But the appearance of the great T.A Osae was marred by a timely reminder in the Daily Graphic about how putrid the once-great Prempeh College has become.

Prempeh College is a school whose headmaster no longer stays in the school (he spends all his time attending to the construction of his mansion at Esereso); teachers do not teach; Prempeh plays second-fiddle to lesser known schools in the Sciences (our WASSCE exam results is unpublishable); school rules are no longer enforced (roll-call is even optional); Senior Prefect says discipline is an all-time low; and Prempeh fails in all sporting and academic endeavours (Prempeh placed a disgraced 5th place in Athletics).

The following Daily Graphic article is the reminder to all Amanfoo that we no longer have a person in the mould of Osae in charge at Sofoline, and that the current occupant of the Headmaster's Office should be kicked out immediately.
