School has Reopened

Thursday, January 10, 2008

The expected did not happen for the students of the various second cycle institutions in Ghana. Before the schools' vacation in December, the students were made aware that reopening was to be scheduled somwehere after the African Cup of Nations ends on 13th February. However the headmasters of the various schools were made aware that their students are to be in school latest on 11th January.

Prempeh College therefore made an announcement on the various airwaves calling for their students to report to school on Thursday, 10th January, 2008. Kumasi High followed suit and most students will be heading to school today and tomorrow for the term to begin.

The students will then follow proceedings of the Ghana 2008 from their staff common rooms. Amanfoo may get the opportunity to view some of the matches free at the Baba Yara stadium as The Local Organising Committee wants to give 2000 students free tickets to go and watch the match live.

Prempeh.org take this opportunity to inform all students of the college that school reopens on Thursday, 10th January.
