for a new Opel Astra vehicle. Students are failing exams as a consequence of this betrayal and the Headmaster's mistress -- the main
beneficiary of this shocking bribery -- arrogantly flaunts her ill-acquired wealth on campus.

Prempeh boys are doing extremely poorly in the Sciences according to the latest WASSCE exam results. The unprintable
academic performance at Sofoline could be attributed to only two people -- Akwasi Owusu-Achiaw, and strangely, his mistress.
The renowned Integrated Science textbook which is authored by former Prempeh master, Prof. Quarm, is used by students all
over the country. While students who master this textbook are destined to do well on the national exam, the same cannot be said about
another book by Approachers Publishers.
The science book by Approachers Ltd. is so ladden with errors that Prempeh form 3 students who received the book during their form 1 year have refused
to open the text in the 3 years that they have been in the college. Not only is the book filled with grammatical errors all throughout, but the
actual scientific material is incorrect or very poorly explained.
Students who use this Approachers Integrated Science text often confuse the wrong information they have read from this ill-favoured text with the
correct facts their masters have taught them in class.
All the Science Department Heads have protested to the Headmaster that they prefer Prof. Quarm's popular, standardized text for our students.
All appeals to the Headmaster, amazingly, has fallen on deaf ears.
It turns out the Headmaster's wife, who is renowned for her arrogant display of opulence in the city of Kumasi, was offered a bribe from
Approachers Publishers.
Prempeh.org has found out that Approachers Book Company has given the Headmaster a car to be given to his wife as a bribe.
A brand new Opel Astra vehicle, which was supposed to go to the Prempeh first-lady, went to the Headmaster's mistress -- his Secretary.
The Headmaster's sexual relationship with his secretary is public knowledge at Sofoline, and if Prempeh form one boys were to describe the type
of affection publicly shared by these two individuals, they would have stories to tell.
Though the Headmaster already owns 5 cars, he sacrificed the college's academic repuation to get a new car for his mistress. Talk
about a case of double betrayal!
While OWASS, which uses Prof. Quarm's book achieved 122 "A" grades in Integrated Science, Prempeh, which presented more than 100 candidates than
the Owareans, earned only 72 A's in the subject. Prempeh.org spent time this weekend interviewing Prempeh graduates, current
students and Prof. Quarm himself. The boys said it is hard to figure out what to actually "believe" from the Approachers text, since a majority
of the facts contained therein are wrong.
But because Mr. Owusu-Achiaw does not have the love for Prempeh, or the conscience and the courage to overcome
his insatiable greed for riches, Prempeh boys are having to bear the brunt of this strange case of ignorance, myopia,
treachery and reprehensible acquisitiveness.
