School has re-opened on Monday September 10 but a visit to campus on Tuesday revealed that most of
the students were not in school. This was mainly because of the fact that misinformation had been
passed round that re-opening had been postponed to the 17the of this month and some of the students
had actually believed it.

Most of the students who had reported had very little to do and were seen sitting and chatting
in groups. Others were also mowing their lawns and tidying up their surroundings.
A visit to the training pitch being constructed for the upcoming African Cup of Nations
also showed that the rains had reduced
considerably the pace of the work.
Speaking to the site engineer, who is an Owarean, he said
everything humanly possible was being done to ensure that the work is completed on schedule.
He said there was no need for Amanfoo to worry over the early completion of the project.
