The Sofoline Forms 1 and 2 boys returned to school to join their seniors for the third term of the 2006/7 Academic year on Monday April 30. This was in spite of the fact that Tuesday, May 1, 2007 is a holiday. Most of the boys who reported had very little to do because there was a heavy downpour in the evening. They were seen sitting in groups and having some arguments on the upcoming UEFA Champions League matches. Each of them was confident that his club was going to carry the day.
Some of the boys too had decided that since May 1, 2007 is a holiday, they would stay home and report on Wednesday, May 2.
Their return made the Form three guys very happy since they had had to do all errand running and sweeping themselves in the absence of their juniors. Their return was therefore going to give them a much needed break from these chores so that they can concentrate on their books.
On an encouraging note however, the form three’s were seen seriously studying for their upcoming exams. All the classrooms had students in them. They seem to be studying in groups now so that they can discuss anything they do not understand. There is also a quiet sense of determination on campus that they were going to make it this year.
The Form 1’s also cannot wait for the term to be over so that they can be promoted to Form 2 and have a feel of how it is like to be in a Senior Class at Sofoline. Prempeh.org overheard a group of Form 1’s discussing how they were going to treat the juniors who will come after them. It seems like some of them have hatched their own plans. They are not going to do unto others what they would like to be done unto them but are going to do unto others as was done unto them. Anyway, Prempeh.org would advise them to be careful in whatever they plan to do so as not to foul the strict rules that exist at Sofoline.
