After battling it out with CHASS over the decision to withhold money from
the Ashanti Regional Student Representative Council, the dust has settled
and the group made up of students from all the schools in Ashanti Region
are going to have their 9th Annual Residential Congress on the premises of
Prempeh College.
The congress starts from tomorrow 5th August to 10th August. The theme of
the congress is A decade of Student activism and Advocacy: A retrospective
and prospective look.
Over 500 students will converge at Prempeh College tomorrow to deliberate
on matters affecting the students in Ashanti Region and Ghana as a
whole.
