Exams in Progress, Closing Assembly on Thursday

Thursday, July 19, 2007

The boys are in their exams week and they will vacate on Thursday, 26th July, 2007. A survey conducted by our webmaster on the students showed that most of them were satisfied with the papers they had written so far. However, some are still afraid of 'Y2K', the system by which students who fail to meet the pass mark are withdrawn from the College.

This system has been there for a long time and the headmaster has made it his responsibilty to enforce it. That notwithstanding, some students feel it should be cut down to 40% instead of the 50%.

Others such as the sports men also think something should be done about it for them as they do not have the same advantage that the others have.

They use part of their time to train to get honours for the college. As the Board of Governors and other stakeholders read this site, we hope a decision will bge taken on the genuine concern raised by the sports men.

Prempeh.org also warn the sportsmen to take their studies seriously as it is one of their major tools to a successful sporting life.
