The gentlemen were back to the college yesterday after the christmas
break. While some of the gentlemen had gained weight, others were still slim
which demonstrates what the boys do on each vacation. With some
sticking to their books, others enjoyed all the candies in town and so
gained a lot of weight.
Some house masters were at the forecourt of the college to welcome
their students back from the christmas holidays. It was exciting to
see the students yelling out the nicknames of their masters on
arrival.
Some of the masters also took the opportunity to inform the students
of the task ahead this term as there will be serious lectures. Last
term's academic calendar was marred by continuous strike action by
NAGRAT which made the boys to lose a lot in the end.
There were so many taxi cabs around and students were made to show
receipts of the school fees that they have payed or their bankers
draft before the cabs which carried their belongings were allowed
entry into the college.
Prempeh College masters have decided to tutor the boys in a
way that will enable them catch up with what they lost last term. That
will be followed by this term's academic work.
At around 5pm which is the reporting time deadline, 90% of the boys
had reported and were making their way to the dining hall where they
were served with some delicious "coloured" rice as their christmas
present from the headmaster, his staff and the matrons of the college.
