For the first time in the history of the college, there is going to be
an SRC week celebration. This event starts from Wednesday, 24th
January through to Sunday, 28th January, 2007. The SRC week is aimed
at bridging the gap that exists bewteen the SRC and the student body
and to also make the students aware of the achievements of the SRC.
The Student Representative Council headed by the Senior Prefect,
Senior Francis Ainoo have done a lot for the student body during their
term of office. The class meetings that are held on Wednesdays by the
students tell the prefects what is wrong with the students so they
could rectify them.
As part of the celebrations of the SRC, there is going to be a open
forum on Friday where students will meet the prefects and the staff
and let out their grievances so they could be attended to.
Saturday is going to be another day that the current students of
Prempeh College will really enjoy after the prempeh.org fun fair which
was organised in December. There is going to be an inter-house dance
competition, inter-house debate and a donation by the SRC to anm
orphanage which will be made known very soon.
Sofoline will also witness a massive clean-up exercise by the students
of the college in the morning.
The SRC week promises to be full of fun so all students must get involved.
