A team from Ashesi University today visited Sofoline and interacted with the
gentlemen of the land. They also gave a presentation on the courses offered
at Ashesi University to the students at the Osae Assembly Hall. Most of the
students were impressed with the presentation and said it was an eye-opener
for them.
Some expressed their desire to be at Ashesi but others were not
too happy with the fees they will have to pay in a private university like
Ashesi. The students were however assured that if on being admitted, one
performs creditably well, he would be given a scholarship though they were
limited.
Ashesi is a private university in Accra, Ghana. It has some impressive
number of Amanfoo who are eager to be at the Amanadehyee congress come next
year.
The private universities in Ghana feel they are neglected when it
comes to Amanadehyee congresses but the visit of Ashesi even to the campus
of the college is a first step at making them stakeholders of
Amanadehyee-University events.
