Besides the story of students who have been dismissed from the school for
achiveing a mark of less than 50%, the following is what we
saw on the first day....
The campus was relatively quiet and some students had not
reported apparently due to rumours that the re-opening date had
been postponed to enable eligible students vote in the District Assembly elections.
New Admissions:
Headmaster said he only had slots for only 600 new students this year. He had
officially not received anything from the GES and did not know when
they would report.
Opening Assembly:
It will take place tomorrow, 13th September, 2006 at 9am. All staff and
students are to be present.
The programme for the Opening Assembly is as follows:
Opening Hymn
The School

Looming Strike:
Teachers were around but prefects were doing the registration
and issuance of feeding chits. The impact hasn’t been felt that
much since the college is yet to settle down.
