The students of Prempeh College will naturally be ebullient when they receive the
good news of an impending but short mid-term holidays today. Prempeh.org were
informed today by the administration that there is going to be mid-term holidays
tomorrow, Thursday with the students returning to school on Sunday.
Unlike previous years and terms where the students went on the mid-term holidays on
Wednesday and returned on Monday, this term is going to be one of the shortest
holidays for the students.
The mid-term holidays are given for students to go home and get some rest so they
could be refreshed for the remaining months they will spend at school. However, the
boys havent learnt so much this term as a result of the strike action so there is no
need to get so much rest.
Last week, the masters contemplated on the need to give the boys the mid-term
holidays. While others cherished and supported the idea of giving the boys some time
to go home and rest, others thought some of the students would not return.
The headmaster will tomorrow morning at assembly disclose the good news to the
students but will remind them to return on Sunday for a must-be-present roll
call.
Prempeh.org wish the students a happy mid-term holidays.
