Tradition reinforced

Sunday, June 11, 2006

One of the college's traditions was abolished during last year. Though it bounced back last term, its impact was not felt on the Prempeh student. However, it became a bother to some old boys who expressed dismay at the current happenings on the campus of Prempeh College.

The roll-call tradition was reinforced happily on Saturday at 5pm. The roll call that took place qualifies to be one of the seven wonders of Prempeh College since such a roll has not been called for a long time now. Some of the students even thought the President, Otumfuo or the Regional Minister was visiting the college.

All the masters were present at the college's forecourt to monitor the whole procedure. Students rushed in from the houses like drones when the bell was tolled since they feared the worst may happen. This was characteristic of the days of Mr. Albert Obeng-Odoom (O square).

The transformation that the college is undergoing is somethinmg worth writing home about. The students who were absent at assembly will be punished on Monday.
