Most Prempeh boys hate going home for vacation. Is our campus life that fun?
The Headmaster is asking the final year students to go home for only a five day period
and come back refreshed to continue their preparation for their exams. That is all he is
asking of the boys. Yet they are outraged.
We received a surprising phone call on what some people call "the prempeh.org phone"
only to find out the caller was a resident of Pearson.
After introducing himself to us,
he requested that we place an article on the site that the Headmaster owes the students
tuition refund.
When we asked how the Headmaster came to owe them a refund, the boy explained
that they pay tuition and fees which entitles them to stay on campus all year long, but
Mr. Owusu-Achiaw is breaching this agreement by making them go home, if even for a few days.
Surprised by the ludicrousness of the request, we asked him why he previously
accepted the idea of going home for
midterms and Christmas holidays.
Our boys should realise that the Headmaster is actually doing them a favour by sending
them home to eat fufu for five glorious days. How is that a rough treatment?
