    PREMPEH TO GO FOR BEST SCHOOL AWARD?

    Pasorg Event Ghana presents Ghana Second-cycle schools Excellence Awards 2006 under the theme, "Promotion of Discipline and talent." This is the first to be organised in Ghana. The event takes place at the Accra International Conference center on the 2nd of March, 2006 from 10am to 5pm. Some of the awards categories which finds Prempeh competing with other schools are:

    Drama School
    Debate Schol
    Discipline School
    Quiz School
    Entertainment School
    Science School
    Dedicated P.T.A School
    Dedicated Old Students
    Christian
    Neatest schools
    Best school and
    Dedicated headmaster

    Prempeh College compete with the likes of Presec (Legon), Achimota, Wesley Girls, St Augustines, Adisadel, Koforidua Sec Tech, St Peters, Accra Academy, Archbishop Porters, Yaa Asantewaa, St Mary's, Aburi Girls, Bishop Herman College, Holy Child, Mfantsipim, Pope John's, G.I.S, S.O.S and Ola Girls.

    Some other categories such as Christian school, Agric school, Business school, Arts school are also being competed for by schools like Opoku Ware, Krobo Girls, Aquinas, Aggrey Memorial and a host of other schools including Prempeh College who are tipped to win the best business school and christian school.

    It is argued that the award for the dedicated old students will be decided between Prempeh College and Achimota School, whereas a neat school like Adisadel will compete with the neatest Prempeh College.

    The invited guests for the occasion include: President J.A.Kufour, Education Minister Mr. Osafo Marfo, Ms. Elizabeth Ohene and the head of GIMPA, Prof. Stephen Adei.

    Guest artistes like Praye, Wutah, Bandana and Castro will perform on stage. There will also be a variety show from 69 schools of which Prempeh is one. We hope the gentlemen pick all the awards.
