    NEW CLASSROOM BLOCK NEAR COMPLETION

    Wednesday, September 28, 2005

This photo of the classroom block intended to replace the demolished Slaughter House was taken in June 2005. It is now ready.

Prempeh College's memorial exams hall was demolished some months ago to make way for the construction of new classroom blocks and a new ultra modern Assembly hall that would have a capacity of not less than 2000 due to the increase in the student numbers.

The Osae Assembly hall has not been able to accommodate all the students during functions and school gatherings.

As a result, an idea was brought that the historical Slaughter House be pulled down so that the college could get a new classroom block and the assembly hall.

The classroom blocks are near completion now. It is now left with the painting and the furnishing with chairs for the students to start classes.

Students who were using the Slaughter house had to suffer the bites of mosquitoes during prep hours behind the Assembly hall are now going to have mosquito-free prep in a new facility.
