STUDENTS AGITATED BY MATRONS

Supper at the D-Hall Annex.

The student body, especially the Form threes, are agitated by "the matrons deliberate attempt to starve them."

This is because, half of the tables at the dining hall is served instead of serving all the tables which represents the whole student population.

The reason for the matrons actions is that "the number of students who paid their school fees is 1,300 out of the 2,100 students at the boarding house," meaning that they cannot serve the whole school.

The students see the matron's story as a lie because almost all students carry chits to the dining hall, which means that they have paid their school fees in full, so they are surprised when they get to the dining hall and there is not sufficient food for the student body.

The boys are also mindful that the Senior Housemaster frequently learns about campus events by his frequent visits to this website, so they feel that the "Father of the School" will act when he reads it here, just as he was stunned by his discovery here that Freeman is the most expensive place to live.

It is believed that the Senior Housemaster pushed some buttons behind the scenes at Freeman and now the 3rd House has become a model for others.

We entreat the headmaster and the masters in charge of the dining hall to settle this to forestall any eventualities.
