The Senior Prefects-elect on Friday went to see the headmaster to ascertain the essence of the rampant felling of trees on campus.
According to the prefects, they wonder why the headmaster has ordered for some of the trees to be cut on campus leading to the college losing its forest reserves at the area closer to the O-square gardens.
The felling of trees has thus culminated in hot weather condition during preps even though we are in the rainy season.
Today, the prefects had the opportunity to see the headmaster in the morning after assembly.
The O-Square Gardens - all these trees are being cut down.

According to the headmaster, the fear of the trees falling on some of the students when it rains or when there is a strong wind made him to come to that conclusion. He said that some of the trees are very weak so as soon as there is a strong wind, they fall down.
The question now remains, "how can a tree at the forest reserve of Prempeh fall on a student since no student goes there?". The prefects were even much perplexed at the fact that, the trunks of the trees are not seen as soon as they are cut down but only the leaves. They want to know where the trunks go to; whether to the pantry or to merchants.
The headmaster then told the prefects not to worry since he has the interest of the school at heart. The prefects in turn implored the headmaster to do something about their plea.
Finally, we have found some effective Prefects at Sofoline. Hurray!!!!
