Over 500 students who failed to turn up for the now "defunct" roll call before the mid-terms
were lashed six strokes each at morning assembly on 1st April, 2005.
However, about 200 students who ran away from assembly as soon as
they realised that their colleagues were being punished have been asked to come
with their parents to sign a bond and take their lashes or face deboardinisation.
