A REAL SENSE OF INTEGRITY
Monday, July 12, 2004
Over the weekend, and all throughout this week, all the radio stations in Kumasi
have been praising Prempeh for their incredible level of discipline, as
compared to other schools.
This followed the incident that happened at Kumasi High leading to the closure of the school.
Some form three students stabbed a form one
boy leading to a chaotic scene in the school that caused the school to be closed.
All the talk show presenters emphasized the fact that a scene like that
can never be seen on the campus of Prempeh due to the hig level of discipline over there.
One interesting point made by a presenter on FOX FM in Kumasi, who happened to be an old boy of the OWASS is that,
"even if a Prempeh guy is walking in town improperly dressed and an old boy sees him, the old boy would make sure,
he is decently dressed and that shows how disciplined the school is."
This outsider has noticed that Prempeh people portray the sense of "Suban ne Nimdee."
Besides Kumasi's FOX FM and Kapital Radio, Accra's JOY FM also praised The Kings College.
Prempeh boys should therefore note that people are reading their lives like newspapers all over the world.
Meanwhile the Vice-Chancellor of KNUST says during this year's admission process and
subsequent ones, all KUHIS students would be scrutinised properly, their files checked very well before they are accepted if qualified.
