    PREMPEH PRESENTS 823 CANDIDATES

    Friday, July 2, 2004

    The Slaughter House in 2004
The Prempeh Examination Center, famously called The Slaughter House, in 2004.
Prempeh College is presenting 823 students for the 2004 SSSCE Exams, which begins July 5, 2004.

Critics believe this alarming number, which is symptomatic of Prempeh's population explosion, will spell doom for the College in this year's rankings. But that does not mean our boys will not excel. This is an excellent class that is destined to to succeed, contrary to the wishes of our enemies. They have our support.

It needs to be emphasized that this large class was not admitted by Headmaster Owusu-Achiaw; they were admitted by his predecessor, Mr. E.A. Sekyere.

    TWO DISMISSED TODAY

    Tuesday, June 29, 2004

Two form three students were dismissed today when they were found to have arranged for a boy who is not a student of Prempeh College to sleep in their dormitory. According to the headmaster, these students harboured a boy who "cracks" (i.e.,"dances as if there were no bones in his body") in their dormitory. He is a professional dancer, it is believed. The boys are to go home but will come and write the exam.

    THIEVES BREAK INTO MASTERS BUNGALOW

    Tuesday, June 29, 2004

The entire student body was stunned today when they realised early at dawn that some of the tapes and other materials in the cars of about 3 masters at the masters bungalows were stolen after the cars were broken into.

Everyone wondered what the security personnel were doing in the middle of the night when this burglary occurred. The thieves who were believed to have entered the school through the Adoato end where we have no wall, came around 2 am to do that heinous act. One of the security men said, he saw some strange people at the masters bungalow but never questioned them since he thought they were students.
