We selected a group of distinguished young Amanfoo and profiled them in
Leaders of Tomorrow: Who's who among Prempeh Youth. Now we follow them a year later to find out what's new in their lives and how the website has transformed their lives.

The Quiz trio of Richard Adjei Mensah,
Dwobeng Eben and Louis Oteng Gyimah have all received admission to the
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology. The admission roster of the first year class has just been posted on the campus
and the names of these brilliant Prempeh graduates are on the list. They will enroll in September 2005.
Dwobeng and Richard, who chose Electrical Engineering, were both accepted to a freshman class that consists of 80% Prempeh products.
Richard was the first on the list, meaning that he is the highest-ranked in the class since he had the best SSSCE result.
In fact, all the Quiz contestants, including the reserves, were accepted to either the medical
school or the engineering school. The quiz reserves, particularly Samson Osei Kwaku, who scored 7A's at
the SSSCE, and Samuel and Percy, were all admitted.
Solomon Abankwah, who scored 8A's in SSSCE is listed as the highest-ranked in the medical school class, while Louis, the captain of the Quiz team, is ranked 15th.
Prempeh boys top -- again -- the list of people accepted to the medical school this year.
The only Prempeh boys who did not get into the medical school are the ones who chose to study other subjects, such as Dwobeng and Louis.
We shall be taking a close look at this issue here later.

Chibsah Faisal, captain of last year's Prempeh's Ashanti football championship team, gained
popularity from his profile here. He received 4 U.S. coaches as visitors this year and was
given several offers to play in the USA, after a silent contributor, Senior Kantanka, passed his profile on to one coach. He has his own website now.
-
Gyebour K.O. of the Class of 2004, also
called Malcolm X, was the Editor-in-Chief of The Stool, the
Prempeh Magazine. The Magazine he helped publish for the Sofoline boys became a
remarkable success, being considered perhaps the most popular school magazine of all time.
Gyeabour, the Principal Speaker for the 2003/2004 national
debate winning quartet, performed very well, as expected, on his SSSCE
examination and will be attending the University of Ghana in September 2005.
Right now, he is working full-time as a News Editor at Love FM in Kumasi - the sister FM station
of Accra's JOY FM.
Gyeabour (2nd from left) and the debaters won the National Finals of Schools Debate in March 2004.

Gyeabour says that people easily notice him
because of his profiles at this website and they often come up to him. He says that because of the
site, several ladies make advances all the time. Most Prempeh boys say that appearance on this
website is the best thing that could happen to
any Prempeh boy who needs help winning the lady of his dreams. In the case of Gyeabour, his numerous admirers
come to the website
to do research on him!
He recently told us that, unlike several Prempeh boys who are involved in relationships with several girls at a time,
he is loyal to one and only one lady -- who is his girlfriend.

Class of 2002, Senior Amponsah Ofori Agyeman, who works for Shell Ghana, recently graduated from the
Regional Maritime Academy.
The picture shown here depicts the parade of the graduands at the premises of the Regional Maritime Academy.
Ofori Amponsah of the Class of 2002 was among the graduands. How it resembles a parade of the Prempeh cadet corps.
- Then there is the Victorious Visionary (a name coined by Gyeabour K.O), who
received his letter of admission to the University of Ghana just last week.
He will be pursuing a degree in Administration. As a Senior Prefect, Gyabaah led by example at the SSSCE, scoring 4A's and 4B's.
The Dormaa-Ahenkro native, who has been appointed an Assistant Headmaster at a school in or near
his hometown, is now visiting Kumasi on some family related mission. In fact, Victor has been in Kumasi for a while now.
When he first checked in with us, we reported it.
Victor has obviously achieved so much since his graduation from Prempeh, yet he doesn't like to brag about it. When we ask him about his job
as an Assistant Headmaster at a JSS near his hometown, he evades answering.
Victor also reports that people easily recognise him, and often tell him about what they read about him here; he's enjoying all the attention.
His only problem lies in the art of typing; he's slowly but surely mastering the art of replying emails.

Please note that, if you are a current Prempeh student, your photos must show you in a suitable school
outfit, such as green and white shirts and khaki and white trousers, or even school cloth or
Prempeh sports jersey. Graduates can appear in coloured clothes.
