Yaw Asamoah-Adu Agyekum

The 2005/06 Second Assistant Senior Prefect, Asamoah-Adu, who admires Martin Luther King Jr, says he fears nothing except losing focus of his lifelong goals, which is to become a surgeon and a medical researcher. He dreams of being a neurosurgeon.

Age: 17

Former school: Morning Star, Accra

Parents: Dr. and Mrs. Asamoah-Adu

Background: I have 3 siblings

Ambition: To be a neurosurgeon and hope to find the cause and cure to schizophrenia

Fears: Nothing except losing focus of my goals in life.

Reason: Prempeh is second to none and I saw that in the science and Maths quiz. Even though, they didn't win, I loved their composure.

Favourite food: Ripe plantain with beans

Role model: Martin Luther King Jnr

Why Senior Prefect: I was endeared by the administration of the prefcets of 2003/2004 but was sad when Kwadwo Konadu took over because they didn't help the college. Discipline has declined and I want to help bring a stop to laxity and indisciline.

The vetting of the Prefectorial aspirants was held on June 21, 2005. This photo depicts the vetting of Asamoah-Adu Y. Agyekum, who was eventually elected Assistant Senior Prefect II.
