Eric Goloe

Class of 2006, Eric Goloe, the Ashanti "Athlete of the Year" for 2004 who set the 100 meter record in 2005 has been chosen as the sole representative of Ghana in the 2005 World Youth Athletics championship. They chose one representative from each African country and in Ghana, his time of 10.7 secs is the best, hence the automatic choice. This honour comes just a few weeks after Eric and a few of his school mates won the prestigious Milo National soccer trophy for Prempeh. He was also selected for the national under-17 soccer team.
