Okei Stephen

Prempeh soccer and table tennis star, Okei currently plays for ASFA Sekyi Academy at Juaso, Konongo. He chose Prempeh because he realised at an early age that Prempeh's green shirt always brought respect to the wearer. He dreams of "playing for teams like Manchester and Real Madrid."

Okei Stephen.

Family: 2nd of a family of 6 children; Had my education at Makro M/A in Kumasi before being enrolled at Prempeh College. Captain of Makro M/A where I led the school to win the inter-government schools soccer competition.

Why he chose Prempeh: Naturally I admire the green colour. The colour represents productivity. I should also admit that I was attracted by the confidence with which students of the college wore their green shirt. I had some friends in my locality who attended Prempeh. I was happy any time I saw them in the green shirt because they were really respected. That compelled me to choose Prempeh and I made it.

What he does at Prempeh: I am a soccer and table tennis player. I currently play for ASFA SEKYI ACADEMY at Juaso, Konongo.

Position: Number 5 (central defender) Future club: I want to play for the bigger teams in Ghana and hope to also play for some clubs like Manchester and Real Madrid. How he felt during the final: I was afraid because our opponents had told all the people around that they were going to beat us 8 goals to nil but we finally made it.
