Adabankah Antwi Bernard (Class of 2002)

Adabankah Antwi Bernard was an Arts student of Prempeh College from 2000 to 2002, a member of Osei Tutu House and the Computer and Wildlife Clubs.

He is a gentle, hardworking, brilliant, achieving, devoted and very motivating person loved by most guys and gals more particularly, the Royal ladies of Yaa Asantewaa Sec., School.

Adabankah was one of the real academic gurus in Prempeh College during his time and it was no surprise when he received the best geography student award in form one, and came first in his class since form one, except in only one term where he came second. He further made history by becoming the first and only student to get “A” in History in the SSSCE in Prempeh College since the inception of the West Africa based exams.

He graduated from the prestigious College with a distinction and is currently in the University of Ghana Business School, pursuing Bachelor of Science in Administration, Marketing Option. He is a member of Commonwealth Hall.

Adabankah was the Deputy Electoral Commissioner of the University of Ghana Business School in his second year having served on various committees for the Management Week of the School in levels 100 and 200 notably the Publicity Committee.

He contested for the Treasurer ship position of Commonwealth Hall, however, lost the elections honourably as the first runner-up.

Adaba, as he is affectionately called, is one senior who has attended all the Royal Amanadehyee Congresses since he entered the university. He has played active roles on the Royal Amanadehyee Congress Planning Committees in his first and second years and is currently the chairman of all events of the Amanadehyee, Legon branch including the 2006/7 Royal Congress.

He is also the Organising Secretary of the Marketing Students’ Association of the University of Ghana Business School, Legon and a General Assembly member of the University Ghana Students’ Representative Council (SRC) from Commonwealth Hall. He serves currently on both the Finance and External Affairs Committees of the University of Ghana SRC.

As his philosophy, Adaba believes that “to be a genius is only 1% inspiration, the rest is all 99% perspiration”

If you share a similar philosophy or would like to get in touch, you may do so through the email address: siradaba@yahoo.co.uk

Long live Prempeh College!
