I.N. Mintah, the 2002 Prep Prefect, is seeking the SRC presidency at the University of
Ghana, where he is studying Accounting.
Let us hear him out and donate our quota to his campaign. He is seeking sponsorship
from Amanfoo around the world.
The Students' Representation Council (S.R.C) of University of Ghana, Legon elects its executives every second semester. The executive positions include The President, The Secretary and The Treasurer. The second semester of the 2006/2007 academic year is here with us and this ritual has to be fulfilled.
I intend to contest for the position of President of the SRC. My decision to contest for this position is motivated by my quest to find solutions to some of the myriad of problems that the students of this university face. I have always maintained that the number 1 enemy of students is bad leadership. Once a leader who is responsible, honest, and above all, God-fearing is elected, our problems as students are half solved.
My name is Ignatius Ntim Mintah, a third year student of the University of Ghana Business School and an affiliate of Legon Hall. I have been involved in student activism since my days at the secondary school. I am currently a member of the SRC publications and communications committee.
