Gyabaah Victor Yeboah (OT House)

According to the opinion of many Prempeh students, the current Senior Prefect, V.Y Gyabaah, is the boy every mother must want for her daughter. The stately Gyabaah came to Sofoline all the way from Dormaa-Ahenkro. He cites the 54th Speech & Prize-Giving Day and Graduation ceremony - which was the first ever graduation ceremony at the secondary level - as his most cherished moment.

He will be remembered as one of the great Prempeh Senior Prefects. Not only was he the SP, he could also be considered the Web Prefect for the contribution he made to the site this year: as head of the website team on campus, he is credited for enhancing information transfer to Amanfoo all over the world. He also embarked on some measures that brought the College community closer to the website. He has been seen on campus giving incentives to students who visit the College's website. To ascertain if students have actually visited the site, he often quizzes them about the contents of the website.

He admires many of our teachers, particularly Mr Yeboah, Asst. Headmaster (Administration); Mr. Obeng-Odoom, Senior Housemaster; and Mrs. Asher because of their openness with students and their discipline. His famous quote is that "Prempeh College is always the first to invent."

Gyabaah has been invited to lecture fellow students at other schools. On Saturday, June 19th, 2004, for instance, he lectured at OWASS at the invitation of the OWASS Protestants Society because of his position as SU President of Prempeh College.

Who, then, will make a better son-in-law?
