The Great Teachers of Prempeh College

Mr. Allan Goodfellow
A Mathematics Teacher & Butler Housemaster, 1960s & 70s

A pioneer of interactive maths teaching, he laid some of the best foundation in basic maths for students in the late 60's & 70's. Butler - not Pearson - was the House of envy.

Mr. Goodfellow did enhance the educational goals of even the hardest and such notorious guys like the Otoyo Brothers. Sometimes carried away by his conservative Brittish ideas, strict & unbending with house inspection and general discipline, he effectively molded our ideas into seeking the best in everything we do...from cleaning the tiniest cobweb to solving complex math problems. Certainly, he made Butler a star house.

He did beget Opanin Kwadwo Kyere, who attended Prempeh College from 1962-69. He is credited for making Kwadwo Kyere "the Ghanaian master of parametric equations."
