The Great Teachers of Prempeh College

Mr. Seth Okra
A Mathematics Teacher of the 1970s

Popularly known as States, he was a very dedicated man, a teacher and a coach, albeit a strict, strict disciplinarian. This was a Teacher who cared so much for the students and their studies that he will ran to Class just to make sure he is on time. He was vigilant on how our home work was done, will leave his family at night just to make sure students were abiding by the rules and regulation. One student remember taking his additional Mathematics Class, and not really caring for the subject. When the student asked him "Sir, why should I have to study Math when Computers are taking over?" His answer was "Well , Computers are just tools to assist you to apply your Math, and it doesn't matter how far computers will advance, I'm sorry you are going to have to study Math." Mr. Okra will chase boys who decide to cut morning assembly, right through the various houses. The interesting part was, when boys did run across the famous Serwah House through the school gate, he will scream " Boys you are breaking the law, you are now in town without the school exeat" A man and a teacher indeed.
