Ramseyer forfeits crucial match

Friday, December 2, 2005

The 6th week matches of the Prempeh.org Inter-Houses Soccer League was played today - farmers day holiday in Ghana.

Freeman was awarded 2 goals and 3 points for their 6th-week match against Ramseyer, which the Ramseyerans refused to play because they did not fancy the field the Sports master assigned for the game.

Butler House team, still undefeated

This gave their close rivals Butler a huge break because Butler thrased OW 5-0 to extend their lead at the top of the table to 5 points.

Pearson closed in by beating Serwah 2-0. Emmanuel Barimah scored both goals for the Pearsonians while Asumang Dankwah Ebenezer scored 3 of Butler's 5 goals to climb to the top of the scorers chart.

Here are the full results:

Serwaa 0, Pearson 2
Butler 5, OW 0
Aggrey 1, Gberg 1
Ramseyer vs Freeman was not played, but Freeman earns 3 points and 2 goals.

The league is expected to be completed on Sunday, December 4. The next 2 rounds of matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday.
