Yesterday's training at the College Stadium saw all three fields being used simultaneously by
the houses. It was a joint training held for all the players from the houses, including
some form 3 boys.
Surprisingly, some old boys and former members of Prempeh's team are asking
that they be allowed to play in the league, since they are only "recent graduates" and could still
be considered students.
An example is Douglas Nyame, the famous Man United, who trained with the team yesterday. Douglas insisted
that he be allowed to play for his house.
In the classic joint training showdown held on all the fields, Douglas was the defender
on one team, and the reigning
National Player of the Year Ahmed Deedat Amoako of Aggrey was the key defender on the opposing team.
These two acclaimed players put on a great show in an attempt to show prempeh.org cameras
that "balls don't get past them."
Only a strong warning from an angry Mr. Lartey restrained these two gentlemen from injuring opposing
strikers. "We are here not to injure each other, its only a training, fools" the sports master said.
Meanwhile, the first aid/injury kits that come with the sponsorship package is
being delivered today just in time for the exciting first game between Ramseyer and Serwah. It is intended
for the purpose of healing any injuries that may occur.
