Prempeh wins football championship

Prempeh boys line up just before kick off
Prempeh College beat Kumasi Anglican Secondary School (KASS) 4-3 on penalties to win the Milo Inter-Schools Football Championship today at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

The game ended goalless after extra time. Seventy five percent of the Prempeh student population was at the stadium to watch this incredible game. Stay tuned for details. There is jubilation taking place all over Kumasi, since Prempeh alumni are all over the city.

The Milo soccer tournament is a prestigious event that brings a significant amount of money and media attention to the winning school. Since its inception, OKESS and KASS have dominated it; this is the first breakthrough year for Prempeh. Congratulations to these outstanding boys for bringing to Sofoline this famous trophy.

This is indeed the year of the Amanfoo.
