The Inter-House Football Final of 1963/64: What a match!
For a long time this duel between Fabulous Osei Tutu House aand declining Freeman House remained the topic of discussion
among students in the dormitories, Masters in their bungalows and pantry-boys at their usual place.
The match was originally scheduled to take place on the 4th of June 1964. But on that day, the weakness of Freeman House compelled them to ask for a postponement.
Their request was granted. Then came the inevitable day for Freeman House - the 12th of June.
In my capacity as the Sports writer for the House Magazine, I had learnt that the invisible Osei Tutu soccer team had acquired new Brazillian moves to bamboozle their opponents.
This was just something to be proud of, because even the Black Stars find it very difficult to adopt these techniques originated by the Peles, DiStefanos and the Garrinchas.
