A new national quiz trophy which was introduced this year has been won by St. Augustine's, after the Oguaa boys
defeated Kumasi Anglican 77-50.

Shouting "Prempeh has given us a cool chop, KASS is an easy chop," the boys made so much noise and disrupted the place to such an extent
that a trophy presentation was not done, marking the first time a champion of the competition will leave Accra without the trophy.
Their profound excitement even before the contest was that the final matchup turned out contrary to what the majority expected. People had predicted
from the beginning that Augusco will face the winner of Prempeh-Peter's quarter-final winner. And after we defeated Peter's, people expected a
"Battle of Green Shirts" -- Prempeh vs. Augusco. But they were stunned when Prempeh fell to Kumasi Anglican.

The first trophy introduced in 1994 which Prempeh won twice, was won by Presec for an unprecedented
third time and for keeping in 2006. Prempeh had a chance to win that trophy for the third time in 1997 but lost in the finals then.
Tow more great chances came in 2000 and 2004 but we lost in the semi finals.
