YAGSS finally said good bye to this year's National Science and Maths Quiz today as
they were beaten by Achimota School. Yaa Asantewaa have really done well since they
had 3 quizzes in 5 days. It is really overwhelming. That notwithstanding, the
Adehyee have an automatic qualification to partake in next year's edition.
Tried as they did today, the might of Achimota was stronger then them. The ladies
however were not perturbed after the contest. "We tried our best but could not match
them," said Achiaa, the Quiz captain. We wish our "wives" the best of luck next year.
Now they have to stay and watch their "husbands" as they cruise to the finals to
clinch the trophy on the 11th of July. They are staying in Accra to cheer us on until
the Royal Pair leaves with the trophy on July 11.
