Class: 3S5

House: Pearson

Hobbies: Reading fictions and debating

Residence: Wa

Adams is one of the few students from the Northern part of the country who have made it in the selected 7 of the National Science and Maths Quiz team. Schooled at Dan-Ibu Int at Wa, the capital town of the Upper West Region, "Keller" as he is famously known entered the Sofoline University to do wonders. He has taken the 3S5 class by storm and leads the class almost every term.

Keller is a resident of Pearson house and loves debating. He is also among the Debaters Club members on the Sofoline campus. He is 18 years and loves reading fictional stories.

Enoch Dompreh


D.O.B: 19th November, 1988

Alma Mater: Prince of Peace Int. School (Accra) and Pentecost Private JSS (Kumasi)

Parents: Pastor David Dompreh and Mrs. Mary Dompreh of the Church of Pentecost, Old Tafo District, Kumasi.

Class: 3S4

Hse: G'berg

Hobby: Reading

Church: The Church of Pentecost (Old Tafo – District)

Residence: Old Tafo, Kumasi.

Enoch just got a new nickname on the campus of Prempeh College after Kofi B, the highlife musician released his album, "Akua Ataa".

Akua Ataa is a story of a woman who was cheating on his husband called Yaw Dompreh in the song. The "Yaw Dompreh" has literally become the new name of the Pentecostal who resides at Old Tafo in Kumasi.

Enoch, a staunch christian and a Maths guru started his education at Prince of Peace in Accra before completing at Pentecost Private School in Kumasi when his dad who is a Reverend Minister was transferred to the Garden City. He is in 3S4 and loves Maths like the good old Archimedes. He enjoys reading and calclating.

Mawuena Yao Hafeh

Alma Mater: Crown Prince Academy (Lapaz)

Parents: Margaret Fiadogbe who is a teacher and Victor Yao Hafeh who is an accountant.

Class: 3S1

House: Ramseyer

Hobbies: Reading Scifi

Church: Jehovah's Witness

Residence: Kasoa

Known as Rip-off by all students of the college, Mawuena Yao Hafeh is a 3 Science 1 student. He is the son of Mr Victor Yao, an Accountant and Mrs Margaret Fiadogbe.

In the year 2001, Prempeh College had 4 of the quiz contestants out of the 6 coming from Ramseyer House. The trend however changed as the Rmseyer boys resorted to all sorts of evil acts on the campus of Prempeh College.

Now, Yao is in to redeem the image of the house. With his housemaster Mr Naziq as his favourite teacher, Yao believes that the sky is the lowest limit for the college. He tells all Amanfoo that the trophy will be brought to Sofoline once again. His confidence speaks volumes of him.

Yao Mawuena completed Crown Prince Academy in Accra and resides at Kasoa also in Accra. His favourite subject is Biology and enjoys reading Scifi.

Samuel Amo-Afful

Parents: Mr. Stephen Amo-Afful (Snr. Accountant at State Insurance Company, Kumasi) & Mrs. Mercy Amo-Afful (also of SIC, Kumasi)

Class: 3S1

House: OT

Hobby: Reading

Church: The Church of Pentecost (Santasi – District)

Residence: Parakuo Estate, Kumasi.

Samuel is not the first to be called "Oboy Brilla." Oboy Brilla is a nickname given to any student at Prempeh College who just learns so much that he can never live without reading. Aside that fact, it also refers to someone whose sole aim at the college is to be a member of the NSMQ team. Those guys who have acquired the names before entered the College thinking, sleeping, eating, dreaming and drinking the National Science and Maths Quiz.

Born in Accra to an Accountant and a worker at the State Insurance Company, Samuel completed one of the best schools in Ghana, Maria Montessori. From there, he made his entry to Prempeh and was placed in 3S1. It is worth knowing that 3 Science 1 is the best class of the current Form threes. Being in that class and having been chosen to represent the college speaks volumes.

He enjoys reading and has Chemistry as his favourite subject while Avogadro also happens to be his best teacher. He is a resident of the White house and has vowed to lift the trophy for the college.

Abeiku Abassah Ghansah


D.O.B: 26th July, 1989

Alma Mater: KNUST JSS

Class: 3S3

House: Freeman

Hobbies: Socializing and gaming

Residence: Anwomaso - Kumasi

Parents: Mr. Jesse Ghansah, a pharmacist at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Ksi and Mrs. Gladys Ghansah, a nurse.

Abeiku Ghansah, a Freemanite and the best student in 3 Science 3 has what it takes to win Prempeh College the coveted National Science and Maths Quiz trophy this year. Born to Mr Ghansah, a pharmacist at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Abeiku wants to follow the footprints of his dad. He wants to be a pharmacist in future and has Dr. Amponsah Effah as his role model.

Abeiku completed KNUST JSS in Kumasi where he was the best student of their time.

He enjoys playing Play station 2 and also chatting with the Yaa Asantewaa ladies. He has the conviction that with the support of all Amanfoo, Prempeh College will be the greatest ever school in the history of the National Science and Maths Quiz.

Douglas Donkor


D.O.B: November, 1989

Class: 3S1

House: Freeman

Hobbies: Dancing and Singing

Church: Pentecostal Life Church Int

Residence: Tafo-Estate, Kumasi.

Sisters: Angela, Priscilla and Jennifer

Born in November, 1989, Douglas has grown into a big boy ready to rub shoulders with the likes of those who have made good impressions and left footprints in the sand of time when it comes to the history ofg Prempeh College.

The motivation of Douglas is that, he wants to be known as the guy who won the trophy for Prempeh College for the thrid time. With this in mind, he has determined to do exploits for the college in June when the Science and Maths Quiz commences.

Douglas, a Freemanite, completed the Good Shepherd School in Kumasi. In his days at Good Shepherd, he was the Senior Prefect but politics left his veins and was replaced with the desire to read and read and read. He is in 3S1 and resides at Tafo-Estate in Kumasi. He is the only son of Mr and Mrs Donkor and has 3 other siblings who are all females. His hobbies are dancing and singing.

Douglas encourages all Amanfoo to stick to their guns and forge ahead as victory is on the way.

Jeffrey Offeh Sakyi


D.O.B: 18th April, 1989

Alma Mater: Garrison Basic. Sch.

Parents: Mr. Yaw Offeh and Mad. Margaret Asare

Class: 3S1

House: Aggrey

Hobbies: Watching soccer and playing games.

Church: The Church of Pentecost (Santasi – District)

Residence: Santasi

Mrs. Otoo loves pronouncing this name, "Jeffrey". The name sounds so sweet in the ears of the English tutor so much that she can never enter the class to teach without mentioning the name severally. It could also be said that the way Jeff has command over the English language makes the English tutor a fan of this chap.

Jeffrey completed Garrison Basic in Kumasi, one of the military schools in the metropolis. He is the son of Mr. Yaw Offeh and Margaret Asare. Jeffrey is an Aggreyan and loves playing playstation games so much. He fellowships at the Church of Pentecost. Jeffrey is a "Biology addict" and has command over the subject really well.

During the trials of the contestans, he answered all the Biology questions to the admiration of his colleagues. Jeffrey believes in the "together we can" spirit and dreams of returning the trophy to Sofoline for the 3rd time.
