The Amanfoo Global Homepage, www.prempeh.org is serving the whole world
with news, stories and pictures of the on-going National Science and Maths
Quiz.
In fact, prempeh.org is the only website given the mandate to be in
the Quiz center and get the news to the world. They were generous enough to charge us only a small
fee for a license
to film portions and take photos.
This has therefore caused
a host of schools present at the University of Ghana glued to the website.
Primetime, the organisers of the contest do not display the scores or
results of contests on any notice board. What you can only get are the
fixtures. As a result, students from other schools who want to follow the
results of opposing schools browse the site every day.
As if that is not enough, the profiles of our contestants have been
printed out by some schools notably Old students of Opoku Ware, Presec and
St Peters.
Some Amanfoo who also read the stories and watch the pictures
of the quiz via prempeh.org also come to talk to the contestants from the
Sofoline University.
Prempeh.org is now popular among other schools and each student checks it
at least once a day to get information about the quiz. Some Amanfoo have
called in to say they will be coming to witness the quiz because of the
great and wider coverage our website gives.
Some Amanfoo in Parliament made a pledge to our boys because they liked their performance
in the video they saw here.
