With the absence of the nation's two most prestigious school trophies (i.e., national quiz
and national milo soccer trophies) on the campus of Prempeh
College this year, the students of the college still look ecstatic and
optimistic about their future and especially the furure of the college.
When
prempeh.org spoke to some of the students, here is what they had to say.
Collins Owusu, Aggrey
"I believe our results in the Milo wasn't that bad. We had some few problems
with the strikers on the day so we lost. We will surely win next year"
Alfred Nsiah, Pearson
"The Science and Maths Quiz boys did well but I feel that the current form
two students will do better. The future is bright, you know."
Sebastian, 2006 Quiz contestant
"The form twos average in their end of term exams has always been
impressive. I believe they are even better than us and should they get the
best of preparation and support from the school and all stakeholders of the
college, they will win the trophy"
Paul Sekeyer, Serwaa house
'Prempeh will surely bounce back this year. We are here to make
records. I believe in the students who will represent the college in all
competitions next year."
One master, Mr. Agyenim Boateng had this to say:
"The boys are really inspired
by what they have seen so far. In academia, we are ever prepared to face the
task ahead of us. I wonder why we lost to St Peters in the quiz but I know we
will win any other contest this year and the year's ahead of us."
