Tried as they did, T.I.Ahmadiyya could not upset the more-experienced Opoku
Ware Sec when the two Kumasi schools met today in the 1/16th stage of
the National Maths and Science Quiz.
AMASS really proved a thorn in the flesh
of the Owareans but the firm grip of the Opoku Ware boys on the answers late in
the last round gave them the victory.
It was expected that the quiz would be fierce as both schools come from the
same town but in the end Opoku Ware won by 7 points as they had 72 points
with AMASS having 65 points.
Opoku Ware now advance to the next stage of the
competition.
