The prize money for this year is C50, 000, 000. The winner will be taking home all this amount instead
of the previous C20, 000, 000.
Meanwhile the competition has been changed to a two-week format with a new quiz mistress.
University of Ghana Physics lecturer Dr. Kauffman is the new quiz mistress. She replaces
Mrs. Eureka Adomako.
